China Has Welcomed A Panda “Daycare” Center

China Has Welcomed A Panda “Daycare” Center,

And It’s The Best Place On Earth

As if we don’t already witness enough cuteness here at LittleThings, we’ve just discovered the most impossibly adorable newcomer on the scene: a daycare center created exclusively for pandas.
Not very surprisingly, this shrine to pandas is located in Chengdu, China, one of the most well-known sites for seeing giant pandas (there are giant panda “tours” for these sightings), and the native habitat of giant pandas for over 4,000 years.
The center is also dedicated to educating people about the necessary steps taken to care for the endangered species.
The daycare was opened by the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which has recently witnessed the birth of its own twin panda cubs.
Humans have always searched tirelessly for ways to better the lives of endangered animals, and to strive to create safe, natural environments for them to thrive in. They exemplify the bountiful instances of natural beauty and life that exists in the world. We praise those who constantly look to derive new ways to ensure their survival.

The panda "daycare" center is actually a specialized center that monitors giant panda breeding.

It also serves as a nursery that takes care of its host of cubs.

Thanks to the country's incredible efforts in rescue, and habitat preservation and conservation, there are now 1,864 wild giant pandas.

This population increase amounts to a 16.8 percent rise since 2003. Over the past decade, the world was made 268 giant pandas richer. Still, they remain only to be found in the Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu.

The panda population increase has been no small feat. Typically, it's extremely tough to get female pandas to breed. They can only breed two-to-three days each year, and manage to give birth to one cub every two years.

Both natural and artificial insemination methods are used to help the pandas breed. They will continue to be protected by China's Wildlife Protective Law. In the meantime, the cubs are free to roam around this safe haven.
