Adorable Little Girl Taps and Sings ‘In Summer’ From Disney’s Frozen
When 5-year-old Heavenly Joy took the stage at America’s Got Talent, I thought her performance would be cute — but as soon as she opened her mouth, I knew this kid was born to be a star.“In Summer” is a playful yet challenging song from Disney’s Frozen, and Heavenly pulls it off with such charm and skill that the entire room falls in love with her. When asked if her daughter is nervous to perform in front of millions of people, Heavenly’s proud mom says, “She’s got this. She lights up when she sees the stage. That’s her home.” It’s no surprise she comes from a family of talented musicians; her dad is Rodney Jerkins, a renowned music producer who has worked with Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey, just to name a few.
Her voice is awesome, and she’s got the cute tap dancing moves to boot! Heavenly’s warmth and love of the stage is simply infectious. Just look at the judges’ faces — all four of them — when Heavenly belts out the high notes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them this delighted!
